We’ve had our son in swim classes since he was 8 months old. He has loved the water since his first bath I kid you not, him & water it’s his happy place. With that being said it made me nervous to know that the water attracted him so much and still after his previous swim classes there were no survival skills for him to rely on if he were to fall in the pool.

My son started his classes with Mrs. Kym when he was close to 18 months the first few weeks it took him awhile to warm up but once he did you could just see how well he took to Mrs. Kym and her techniques. He completely took off with her! By the end of his session he accomplished more than just a float. My husband and I couldn’t have been happier with Mrs. Kym as our instructor. She has such a calm and soothing persona to her that really helped my toddler feel confident in his abilities and confident in trusting her to teach him. That is so huge for us as parents to see. Mrs. Kym has a gift for what she does, you can see how important this is for her and how much she enjoys it. She teaches more than just survival skills, she instills confidence in your little ones that can be used in and outside of the pool. As parents, we couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. 100% recommend ISR and 1000% highly recommend working with Mrs. Kym.

Kymberlea has been the BEST teacher a parent could ask for to teach them water safety. She is patient, kind, yet sets the boundaries and expectations for the kids to learn and be the best they can be. She is constantly affirming my daughters and reminding them they are capable of doing this even though it can be hard. She is great at communicating what's coming and lets me know when she is going to do something in the water so I am not taken by surprise. I knew before my son was born without a doubt we were going to do this training. What I was not prepared for was our instructor Ms. Kym. We are so thankful God has blessed us with her, as our instructor. It is not just what she does, it is how she speaks, and who she is.

The first week of lessons was diffiicult to watch! Not because Miss Kym is rough, but because I do not like llistening to my baby crying. It was hard for me to realize that! Miss Kym communicates well and most definitly helped me with my feelings. Our daughter learned how to save herself by floating. There is no words that can discribe the relief and peace we now how.
